Mediziner's Notes: Thinking of a Christmas gift for Skeleton-Hellflame was quite a challenge... I was at first thinking of trying a little TMNT but in the end, I just went with trying something involving her OC, Beat. CX It might be a tad bit OoC, but I really liked Beat's backstory... So I thought of what would it be like if he didn't become the heavily serious type and goes from party pooper to party animal just for this story. o:

Enjoy!

As nightfall fell onto Cyber City, the capital of Cybertron, it also marked Nightblade's time to come out and stretch her wings. But this time... She didn't want to do her usual of going out and fly throughout the city... She instead decided to pay a visit to one of her friends, Grayscale.

Along the way, she was surprised to see Dreadroad out, apparently looking for something... Or someone. The Femme Seeker decided to come up and speak to her friend.

"Good Evening, Dreadroad." She greeted. "Is something the matter? It's not natural for you to come out during the night..."

"I wouldn't be doing something as ridiculous as this if I can't find where Beat has gone... This isn't like him to go out this late and he wasn't at home..." Dreadroad spoke with a slight grumble, looking through piles of junk or other sorts... Sometimes looking through various stores whenever she's made her way out of the alley.

Unsure who Beat could be, Nightblade asks. "Well, what if he's partying--?"

"Beat does NOT party, it isn't like him of all Mechs to go around like an idiot and waste time partying." The Femme snapped, towering over the much smaller Femme Seeker with impressive speed and agility, which Nightblade fell backwards onto her aft... Boy had she forgotten that Dreadroad is half Velocitronian, special Grounders known for having equal agility and speed like that of a Seeker's... Except they can't fly... But Dreadroad on the other hand had herself upgraded to the point where she could become a flying car just like in the similar manner of Tracks, one of the very few flying Grounders.

"Why don't we just get Grayscale to help us then? It's better than searching all alone... Besides, he often goes left and right throughout the cities due to his job as a construction builder, so he'd know Cyber City a bit more than we both would."

Dreadroad frowned at this, not wanting to waste time and other peoples' time... But by the time she finds Beat, she'll give him a piece of her mind... But she had to wonder... Is Nightblade speaking the truth? Does this Grayscale she speaks of know and has seen Beat before...? Sighing, she crossed her arms. "Fine, but if I find that this is a waste of my time, I will not show mercy. I require obedience from this Mech and he is not to mess around and about wasting my precious time."

"We're... Not a part of your team, Dread'..." Nightblade pointed out, to which the other Femme didn't say anything. "None of us are part of your group... Anyways, this way, seeing as you're a rare flying Grounder like very few others I've seen, let's get flying to Grayscale's place." The two began to take to the skies, and into the direction of where Grayscale would be found.

...

Grayscale meanwhile was fixing a couple ships that had problems or needed to have parts replaced... Until when he heard Nightblade's engines... Followed by another's, must be someone she's brought with her.

Climbing out from under one of the ships he was repairing, he had a couple splotches of filth and oil that partially coated his paint job, but paid it no mind. "Nightblade? What are you doing here, and whom could this Femme be?" He spoke in a bemused tone, optic ridge raised.

"This is Dreadroad, she's looking all over Cyber City for Beat, have you seen him?" Nightblade asked, then Dreadroad explained why she's looking for Beat, which then left Grayscale pondering his processor, trying to remember where he last saw a 'bot like Beat after having been given description of his paint job and appearance. "Hmmmm... Well I think I've seen a 'bot you've described head on over to a club that's recently opened. I think it was called The Highwired Energon Cube... Or something around like that I guess." He said, trying to remember, but only for Dreadroad to frown in disappointment... Why would Beat be in a club?

"We'll have to go there, and you're coming with us..."

"Grayscale." Grayscale introduced briefly, but only to be grabbed and dragged by Dreadroad. "Grayscale... You're coming with us, now." Dreadroad finished. Despite the Femme was much, much smaller than him, he merely continued to walk despite not wanting to leave his job and get his aft in trouble, he had a feeling that this Femme knows when to mean business more than any other he's seen thus far... Though getting his arm free as he followed, being sure not to mean any funny business.

"Dreadroad, do you think that you're going a little too rough on us? I sort of have the feeling you're treating or expecting us to be like your Engima team or something...-- W-We mean no offense, but we're not a part of your team though...!!" Nightblade spoke, but quickly corrected herself, knowing that Dreadroad was not the type of Femme to mess with, in the same manner as she knew Cloud Road was similar. Grayscale was put in front and also told to lead them to The Highwired Energon Cube.

Upon arriving at the club, there was a long, long line. Dreadroad however wasn't going to put up with such a long line and decided to find another means of sneaking in, which this put both Nightblade and Grayscale at unease when they had managed to squeeze themselves under some rather tall Transformers, making them appear that they've been quite close to entering. And by the time they were able to enter, they had to show special passes, which made Dreadroad give them a displeased look, while Nightblade felt uneasy about what's going to happen...

Until Grayscale held up three passes... Not just any passes but VIP passes.

"Hmm... Alright, you three may enter, look directly to your left, those doors have stairs leading up to the VIP section, enjoy." The bouncers said, allowing them to pass as they went on forth. Once they were out of their sight, the two Femmes looked to Grayscale in wonder, questioning as to how did he manage to have three sets of passes just enough for them as well.

"I was planning to take two co-workers with me, but they would be too busy... So I wasn't sure what they were going to be worth for... Until when Dreadroad decides to drag me into this." He said with a shrug, passing each of the VIP passes to them, so that they can present them to the bouncers guarding the doors containing the stairs to the VIP section.

"Hmm... Alright, get in." They said with a gesture of their head and they went right in, Dreadroad heading up the curvy flight of stairs in a hurry... And what made her immediately frown...

She finds Beat as a special DJ guest, streaming various kinds of music for the VIP guests, and he was like a walking glow stick with his bright colourful scheme shining to their brightest, while various other 'bots were wearing 'energon glowers' which were made for colourful purposes such as clubs. Grayscale and Nightblade soon shortly joined her. "There." Dreadroad spoke, which the two could see Beat streaming music at the DJ studio. "I cannot believe this... This... This isn't like Beat to go wander off into a club to mingle a-about such as stream music for others!" She exclaimed, to which the others weren't sure how to answer.

"Beats us, Dreadroad, we've never met or known anything about Beat..." Nightblade pointed out with a frown, followed by Grayscale nodding as he spoke next. "Well, since he appears to be enjoying himself, and we've just got here... Why not just enjoy ourselves too?"

"I have no time for enjoying myself, Grayscale." Dreadroad sternly corrected him.

"Oh come on, Dreadroad!" Nightblade said, coming up to her despite she was much smaller than the Grounder, continuing what else she had to say despite hovering to her level. "Haven't you heard of the word 'fun'? Not in that way mind you, but don't you know how to party and have fun?"

Dreadroad fell silent, not saying a thing as she only frowned at the Femme Seeker's question. To her, there was never time to have fun, or to even work for achieving such a thing... Her group, known as the Engima was far more important to her than anything else, especially making sure that things are in order. But why should she have fun right now? Dreadroad studied the much smaller Femme, trying to find something to pick at her as her snarky attitude was coming right out... But there was nothing to pick... She couldn't see anything Nightblade had to do... Let alone Grayscale, even though she was the one who pulled her away from his work...

With a defeated sigh... She spoke.

"I suppose I could have this 'fun', but not for too long... I will need a long chat with Beat once it's closing time for this club." She said, which then she could next see Nightblade and Grayscale's faces were forming into smiling faces.

"Well, as long as you're going to have fun and party, I guess we can go along with that." Grayscale said with a nod as the three moved over to a dance pad, and began dancing along with the others.

Beat meanwhile could see Dreadroad among the dancing 'bots, but what surprised him slightly is that she looked like she was having fun, albeit reluctantly. In truth, Beat wasn't one for being a party animal, but he wanted to try something for a change, which he had at first believed that he wouldn't enjoy it... But it all changed right when he had learned... That he had been chosen to become a special DJ guest for just one night, and had grown to actually enjoy being able to stream music for all the guests.

Sensing the time, he decided to prepare for a different kind of genre of music once the previous song had come to a stop, and he had known that Dreadroad had liked a certain type of genre, and began playing one of her most favourite songs. Despite he had no idea who the other two that were near her were, but he could sense that they may have been dragged about by Dreadroad as usual whenever she needs 'help' for looking for someone. Mentally shrugging his shoulders and maintaining a positive expression to avoid making the guests concerned if something is wrong with him, he thought to himself.

'Just enjoy yourself, Dreadroad. You need the time off.'
